“The Suffering of Light” by Alex Webb

This photo book is perhaps my favorite. Alex has an absolute incredible body of work from the last 4 decades. If a photography book could be a school textbook for photographers it is this one. If it’s in your means to own it I highly recommend you do. If you can’t find it at your local independent bookstore I have included the Amazon link.

“Tokyo Unseen” by Lukasz Palka

I first discovered Lukasz through his Youtube channel. I really enjoy his style of street photography. While he takes his work serious he doesn’t let that affect his approach to photography. It’s not forced. He shows that you can clearly have a professional looking body of work and have fun doing it at the same time. I included the Amazon link although it’s no longer available through them. If you can find it, get it.
