The last Sunday in October is Woburn’s annual halloween parade. The event is hosted by the Woburn Lions Cub as a fundraiser to help find a cure for blindness. It is a tradition that spans decades and has become a family tradition for countless families both in Woburn and surrounding communities. This year’s parade just so happened to have fallen during perhaps the nicest stretch of weather we’ve had so far this year. It was a gorgeous sixty degrees (F) and sunny. A great day to be outside period.
I live within walking distance of the parade route so I made my way down to photograph and video the parade. Truthfully, when I am in photography mode I often forget to take videos. But that’s a complaint for a different time 😭
There was a great turnout from the community to watch the parade full of creative floats, marching bands, costumes and CANDY!
Below are a few of the photos I took from the parade. Be sure to check out the rest of the photos in my halloween parade album here
Does your community have a Halloween parade? Or any parade other than for Thanksgiving or Christmas? Let me know in the comments as I love learning fun facts 🤷🏻♂️
